The representative products of benzotriazole derivatives are: 2- (2 '-hydroxy-3' -tertiary butyl-5 '-methylphenyl) -5-chloro-benzotriazole, 2- (2' -hydroxy-3 ', 5 '-tertiary butylphenyl) -5-chloro-benzotriazole (B) and 2- (2' -hydroxy-5 '-methylphenyl) benzotriazole, etc. Product B is light yellow powder with melting point above 151℃ and can absorb ultraviolet radiation with wavelength of 300-400 nm. Can be used in polyolefin, polyformaldehyde, plexiglass, polyurethane and coatings.
